How To Lose Belly Fat

Losing belly fat is not that difficult to do when you know effective ways to do this. Follow this article and make these changes to your daily diet and you will be that much closer to losing your belly fat faster than ever.

Changing The Times You Eat Is Very Important

One smart way to start losing unwanted belly fat is to eat multiple small meals each day, rather than eating 3 large meals a day, try eating 6 small meals each day.

The best way to accomplish this is to eat 3 small meals and 3 healthy snacks. This will curb your appetite by helping stabilize the metabolism which helps the body digest and process food more effectively. This method can be very successful for helping you reach your desired weight as well as helping you to maintain a certain weight.

Drink More Liquids To Lose That Stubborn Belly Fat

It does not sound like drinking more water would be part of a discussion on losing belly fat but it’s actually a very important part of any weight loss diet. The body cannot function optimally if it’s not hydrated adequately. When a person does not consume enough water, the body will begin to retain water and this can add to unwanted weight gain due to bloating. However, staying properly hydrated will help the liver function properly which will help you feel more energized.

When you are hydrated and the liver is functioning properly, the body will be more effective at burning fat. Remember to drink water or juices and avoid carbonated beverages or those which contain large amounts of sugar.

Perform Abdominal Exercises On A Regular Basis

For those who want to lose belly fat it is important to exercise regular basis. Of course traditional exercises such as weight lifting helps to gain more muscle and lose weight, there’s also some exercises that can specifically help burn excessive body fat from the abdominal area.

You will want to make sure that you include these three types of exercises at home:

  1. Abdominal Exercises
  2. Cardio Vascular Exercises
  3. High Intensity Interval Exercises

Activities such as biking, swimming, running, jump rope or dancing are all beneficial and can help you meet your goals. Alternating high intensity aerobic exercises with abdominal specific exercises can have very good results. You will want to do some exercises that target your whole abdominal area.

Motivation To Continue With Your Weight Loss Program

It is very important to stay with the program once you have begun to see results. Build a group of friends which can encourage you toward your goals; or choose a workout buddy who will help you remain focused on the task at hand. Set realistic goals that are attainable but not too easy or it will be difficult to stay motivated. Do not skip meals as your body will try to store fat when you do – and guess where it stores it! You got it, the belly!

Monitor your weight and measurements so you can see your progress over time. These are some of the best practices to observe for those who want to learn how to lose belly fat.

  1. Hello Trevor,
On a similar note, Losing belly fat really isn’t rocket science. The reason most people aren’t successful in permanently losing belly fat, or any fat for that matter, is they quit too soon. We live in an age of instant gratification and we expect what took us a couple of years to add on to our bellies to go away with three weeks of starving and exercise. As you probably already know, that just doesn’t work.
    Cheers

  2. Trevor, forgive me if this is a bit off the subject, but… This makes virtually anyone furious: Diets in reality cause you to put on pounds over time which has become more and more apparent in the unhealthy weight epidemic that’s negatively effecting this junk food, little exercise generation. Are you aware that stadium seating have to be increased in order to help support the rise in peoples increasing, ahem… girth?

This indicates that we are becoming a even larger place (and by no means in a smart way) individuals than we have ever have before which is previously two decades alone. Our young people are afflicted by being overweight related problems as an example having diabetes and also coronary disease.

I read that in a study 70 heavy Western children in the age range of six to nineteen were actually exposed to many battery of medical tests to observe the result that the diet loaded with fat had on their youthful figures. The final results have been eye opening. All suffered from high cholesterol levels and also were inside the high-risk group of having heart problems and coronary heart failure which several people ended up already demonstrating symptoms of.

Will there ever be virtually any hope for anyone?

I feel the correct answer is indeed. Apparently virtually all we need is a little bit of exercise and diet. We virtually all will need to start get started Today!

    • I am doing couple of different types of abdominal exercises for fat loss, i have worked out completely one month with abdominal crunches and cardio but my body result is very slow in burn fat at abs. I am sticked on fat loss diet structure. Here my question is,there is any great exercise for FAST fat loss at belly and effective to turn my body into six pack ripped with in short period of time?

      • If your having problems toning your abdominal area with those exercises, I would look into the type of diet your on and change that next. Try cutting out more of the fatty foods that you’re eating.

    • A really good way to lose weight without a diet is to drink 4 cups of water before every meal. This will fill you up, and you’ll eat less, plus water is really good for you. Couple this with the weights at home, and you’ll be fine. oh, and by the way, Google power of ten adam zickerman and get the book its a workout that you do twice a week for 20 minutes, and its better than the 5 day a week, hour each day routine my dad and i have both been doing this for 2 years, and it works really really well. so yeah, drink water before you eat to lose the extra fat, and use your weights for power of 10 to get muscle good luck!!!!!hope this helps!!!!!

  5. Dear Trevor,
this is an excellent article. hopefully by studying your post anyone can get the idea about losing fat. thnaks

    • if just depends on the peosrn and everything. because you don’t loose weight from just one spot, it loses from all over, so i lost 25 lbs with exercising and eating right and i only went down one size. it just depends. and if you lift weights, you may weigh more because your building muscle, but it will be firmer and wont be flabby like fat. so don’t always measure things in terms of pounds because it can be very misleading.

  6. The most important part of losing weight is what you’re eating. You can work out in the gym all day long, but if you’re not eating “right”, you’re wasting your time and energy.

  7. I want to lose fat around my belly and a little on my arms and calfs. Im 5ft 9 inches and i weigh 190. I want to lose fat i dont care about how much i weigh i just want to look good. Its just that i dont have a high metabolisim. So i have aout 2 hours a day that i could use to workout but i cant go to the gym i have an ellipitical at home and i have weights.

    • If you have about 2 hours per day to dedicate yourself to working out and exercising, that would be more than enough to get you to your weight loss goals that you have.
